I am an eclectic individual who operates an eclectic online book store and has been writing since I could hold the pencil.
I have published articles (prior to joining Suite101) on insulin action, teaching science, youth sports, community - youth partnerships, building community, military history, historical fiction and fantasy, and poetry.
In my professional life I have been a teacher, trainer, developer, project manager, operations manager, data specialist, director of operations, owner of a brick and mortar retail business, and owner of an ecommerce business.
In my volunteer life I have been CubMaster, coach for basketball, baseball, and soccer, President of a youth council, and active in church, PTA, cancer-ralated charities, and local arts programs.
In my spare time I am also an avid military history wargamer, environmentalist, and reader.
I hope you find my articles interesting, informative, and helpful.
